Because every one of my swallows deserves to be mentioned first. I'm starting a series where I introduce one of these wonderful ladies and give you a little glimpse into the nest.

The nest has always been a place for me to unwind, to have fun, not to take everything so seriously; even that, like so many things, is subject to the changing times. People come and go, I'll observe for a while longer.

Ugh, 2021 is almost over! For 2022, I wish you: fantastic patterns that flatter your figure and allow you to make money. My favorite would be a beautiful pair of jeans with a great top. I also always love your dresses, but ultimately, it doesn't matter. Your patterns are great, and I always love them all.

And today I'm celebrating with her because it's her birthday! And I'm not only coming in an incredibly good mood, but also with an extremely childish karaoke microphone from my daughter. It flashes and echoes when you sing. It's going to be a blast and a very musical party! ;D I'm really looking forward to seeing you and your family!

My ears are ringing with excitement, and I could easily give a four-hour presentation, peppered with countless quotes from Sandra, without even flinching. No, even longer!
HONEST!
Sandra is life itself and comes to you with all its facets.
Sits down in front of you, politely asks: 'Ah geeee, what's going on?'
and then, BAM, she's in your heart.
Charming, full of joie de vivre, with a touch of high spirits, clarity, and an unbridled energy – simply indescribable. You'll rarely see her rest.
But with all due respect - she's also extremely good at that.
From time to time, she allows herself a well-deserved rest. From the couch, she watches her Siberian tigers or the lovely pond right outside the window, indulges in timeless things, cooks something wonderful, and lets life take its course.

Light-footed, one walks over the castle walls towards soaking up the sun. Entirely in keeping with the spirit of Sanctuary.

A rickshaw ride around the Berlin Gate, marching in step to the next delicacy – oh, just a Berliner Weisse. And just when you think: Phew, a little break, it sweeps you up and, like a squirrel chasing you, sews a masterpiece.
Another break with a mask and champagne? Of course, you deserve it, or a hike in the mountains around Zirl, her beautiful home?

Sandra is an excellent seamstress and has a pronounced fetish for patterns that few dare to attempt. She needs a challenge, but also says:
'Well, that's fine if it's a bit simpler sometimes, but I also like it when it doesn't take up so much time.' She sews what she likes. So her repertoire isn't fixed. Just as tolerant as she is of people in life, she's equally unpredictable when it comes to clothing.
I personally love dresses. Such a beautiful woman, and she's just so much prettier in a dress! Oh my, I'm getting completely off-topic, aren't I? ;)

Dearest Sandra, you are my bubbling carousel.
There are countless wonderful memories I associate with you. Little things.
For example, when I take the Isobel bag out of the wardrobe that you simply left for me, the one I love so much. When I look at the photo booth set from Pfälzer Berg in my study, when I drink a Berliner Weisse, when I see all the lovely gifts scattered around the house, when I look at my personal photo album and can't help but giggle. There are so many, and selfishly, I wish there would be many more. I'm so grateful to have met you through work and circumstances, and especially to have been welcomed so warmly by you and your family. I love that you're passionate about things and that you bring and share enthusiasm for so many things, both big and small.
My grandma would have said that you are a straight person.
And that, my dear, is something great and I'll sign it immediately.
