VINTAGE & NORDIC
Grete is a charming, well-made, and technically sound coat pattern that comes with several options. For a vintage feel, you can sew it with ruffles and a collar, or for a simpler, more Nordic style, you can add a great hood for wind protection. A flap pocket for secret treasures inside the coat, embellishments with self-made piping, accurate measuring and marking along the grain, and cuffs are also included. But don't worry: you won't be sewing alone.

GRETE THE VINTAGE COAT
This women's vintage coat features a double-breasted button closure, bishop sleeves, a vent, and cuffs, complemented by a flared skirt. A signature vintage collar and optional ruffles add a touch of elegance to the front design. For those who appreciate special details, seam pockets and two additional styling options are available. For a more understated look, the ruffles can be omitted and a hood added instead.

Hey, I'm Nikolett. Sharing knowledge with lots of motivation and joy, and being a Feel Good Manager: THAT'S WHAT I CAN DO.
From running my own sewing school to offering weekly booked courses, I have gained a lot of experience over the years, which I now integrate into my online courses.
My aim is for you to feel like you're interacting directly with me during the course. My goal is to motivate you to persevere – even if a seam goes wrong, you shouldn't lose your enjoyment of sewing.
With a combination of humor and expertise, I will guide you through to the completion of your project. It would be a pleasure for me if, in the end, you look back on your work with pride and have come to appreciate the 'Schwalbe' brand.

This course is for anyone who wants to turn their passion for fashion into bespoke clothing, sew a coat from scratch, and learn the necessary techniques. It's a creative and practical alternative to fast fashion and will create a masterpiece for your wardrobe.
For this course, you should have already sewn a few projects and be very familiar with your sewing machine. You will need a sewing machine, pins, fabric and paper scissors, tape, and a measuring tape. For the coat, you will need fabric, ribbing for the cuffs, collar, and hem, as well as a zipper and pocket fabric.
