My name is Nikolett and I am a graphic designer & pattern editor with my own brand.
I design timeless, sustainable sewing patterns with a touch of vintage. Since 2001, schwalbenliebe® has stood for lovingly crafted designs that combine the charm of well-fitting vintage fashion with sustainability.
My goal is to give sewing enthusiasts the opportunity to create their own individual and durable clothing.

Born in 1980
Raised between Hungary, Potsdam, Stuttgart & Berlin with a great love for Iceland.
Initial training as a landscape gardener and since 2002 graphic designer in Berlin agencies, at Daimler & in the games industry.
Nikolett founded her own graphic design agency, schwalbenliebe®, as a counterbalance to agency life and her job.
2016 Opening of own studio and sewing school in Potsdam & implementation of the first own sewing patterns.
In 2020, a wooden house was built and a garden was created for more sustainability and a life with family and animals.
2024 With a view to self-sufficiency, I now combine the topic of sustainability in fashion and real life under the brand Vintage Hus and am in the process of showing it publicly.

COURSE INSTRUCTOR & SPEAKER
In September 2019, I was invited as a coach and speaker to the KONFETTIPATTERNS autumn sewing party in Stuttgart. There, I led a workshop on clothing, in which the participants sewed using my patterns, and gave an inspiring speech on "Women Empowerment" to 100 participants.
