Welcome to the nest among swallows ❥

BECOME A DESIGNER

We're taking the plunge and going offline.
Not forever, and not completely. But the 'OFF' clearly illustrates what I'm looking for: design sewers who move between the online community and are here in my area, close enough to touch and sew my patterns.

In the future, I plan to manage some of my designs, as well as the corresponding design sewing, together with a fixed offline team here on site and my beloved core team.

Personal interaction, meetings, and working on the pattern will allow my hand-drafted patterns to reach an even higher level of perfection. A final polish, so to speak.

Furthermore, it allows me to ask about needs and ideas and implement them in the best possible way. Both teams will work hand in hand and be an integral part of my work as Schwalbenliebe. However, I do not necessarily expect the design sewers to participate in my online test sewing.

I'm looking for experienced ladies and gentlemen who are up for this challenge and want to sew my patterns (which I will, of course, provide) in a hands-on, practical setting, creating design examples that I can use for my sales channels. The idea also extends to older patterns, and I'm always open to individual requests and enjoy independent experimentation.

Please bring the following ingredients:

  1. Sewing skills and the courage to try new things, a passion for genuine craftsmanship, and a love for my patterns, which will remain true to the 50s style but will also incorporate a Scandinavian influence. You should be able to think critically and document changes clearly for feedback. But above all, I need ladies and gentlemen who simply have a blast doing what they do!

  2. Good, well-balanced photos that you provide. I need photos of you with your face visible and without much background, but I always want your style to be recognizable. Your style. I don't care whether you have likes or anything like that, or if you run a blog or anything similar. What's important to me is that I can rely on you and that you're happy to meet with me to refine the crop.

  3. Loyalty and reliability are very important to me, as I reciprocate in exactly the same way. Not every project has to be yours, but I need genuine commitments and honesty for a successful team. Of course, family and work always come first, and I will always be there for you.

  4. I want to be safe and know for sure that I can trust everyone. That means I expect 100% discretion and would appreciate an honest word if I have any concerns. Neither pictures nor ideas should be shared through other channels or groups. Fairness is simply the best way to put it.

  5. Together we will determine your size, because I need real feedback on my DOB sizes from the design I used according to M.Müller & Sohn.
Therefore, the garment is not sewn in the standard size, but rather the pattern is individually measured, compiled, and then sewn.

  6. You use Facebook to 'connect' with the core team.

I'm absolutely thrilled to receive applications for an offline swallow team and would love to get to know you afterwards. So be brave and take flight! You can easily apply through any of my channels, and I'd be delighted to receive a few lines about yourself and your favorite picture in self-sewn clothing or a link to your website.

Those wishing to apply directly can do so by emailing post@schwalbenliebe.com or using the contact form. I will add links here as soon as I have them on Instagram, Facebook, etc.

♥ I'm looking forward to our meeting in my studio & I'll put the coffee on.
